I adore this little video of the kitten falling asleep to the sweet sound of a music box. My Godmother gave me a very specal music box – it is sitting inside of a plush animal, a toy Poodle, that moves its head with the song. The music/lullaby is by Johannes Brahms – please listen to this, it is so stunning What I wanted to say, is that a cat’s purr is so unique, and I have layed down on the floor next to a cat, petting or brushing her, and nearly fallen asleep from the purring. Lullabys are terrific – by Brahms or by a cat.

I’ve always loved Brahms’ lullaby – one of the most stunning pieces of music ever written in my opinion.
